Theresa's June Results

This month was a little wacky for me. I really liked the papers and materials this month. I feel like I had a hard time using them though. I *really* went a little nuts with the rub-on sheet. Just.... stop me next time. :-)

Needless to say, I was inspired by the friendship theme to dig back into some files and use some pictures that had not yet been properly scrapped. They are now in my ORMV book to stay!

I made a birthday card for A's mom... but I was so excited to send it that I forgot to take a picture before I dropped it in the mail. The next time we're in SC, I'll snap a shot and edit this post.

Layout 1

Layout 2

Layout 3 (oh boy. no more rub-ons for me.)

  1. I love these! I think it is your best collection to date! I just love these.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that two out of the three feature ME! I'm pretty narcissistic. What can I say? I love it it when everything revolves around me. In fact, we should add a rule that says that one of everyone's projects must have a photo of me in it. JK. :-)

Seriously, though. I do absolutely love these. And I love the rub-ons. Did you see that wedding layout I sent you and Rach showing all the MANY rub-ons I had used? Please. This is nothing compared to that.

That Disneyland layout is very cute. First, I love the photo and the story. That's so cute that you had to buy jammy pants because yours got so wet. I love your Mickey cut-out and how you used it to make a shadow of it on the page. That is so cute! I wish I had thought of doing that with my maple leaf cut-out. I also love the lettering and how you placed the letters tilted forward and back across the border strip. Adorable!

Okay, now for the really good stuff - ME! I was just talking about this trip with Spencer the other day. Remember how Ysa and the guys made those Blair Witch-looking figures and hung them on the trees in the back? Or how Ysa said, "I just want to let everyone know that I cheat." And we all looked at her and said, "Well, then we don't want to play with you." Anyway, I totally remember sneaking out to that rock and decorating that little tree. That was so much fun! You know what wasn't "snow" much fun - the fact that we didn't have snow up there. At all. Man, I should have double and triple checked that. Oh, well. Rock climbing in Yosemite was fun, too.

I love both sides of the layout (and not just because I'm in them). I love these pics. I need to scrap my copies. I love the matted titles and the font you used. That font goes really well with the black and white photos. I like how you did them in black ink to go with the rub-ons. I also love how you used the journaling tags. (I LOVE your handwriting and wish mine were cool like yours. Both you and Rach have such nice handwriting.) And I love the placement of the red tag over the photo. Very cute! I love how you attached it with the ribbon! I also love how you used the frame as your background for the layout. And I love love love those 3 little hearts all in a row. I love that look - of 3 little accents together in a row like that.

I really love these. These are my favorite so far. I can't wait to see what you come up with next month since I know from going through your stash that you love all things vintage. I love this club. :-)
