Rachel's June Results

I can't believe it's already June!

This month I did one layout and four cards. Here is my layout:

Red and blue were just too perfect for all of the recent photos from our trip. Here is a closer look at the title:

I spent way too much time trying to make the the letters look like Lego bricks. I hope it worked.

Here are my cards:

This one is my favorite:

  1. I love your LEGOLAND layout! The lettering is so creative. (You know how much I love playing with type and fonts and such!)

You're making me want to try layering my pictures together. I haven't done that before, but I want to see how it looks. I'm not sure I have enough for this month though (I'm running late... naughty, I know!).

I like the dream card the best too. What did you use to secure the ribbon? Did I miss that?

I know I cheated a little... looking before posting - but I couldn't help myself. Since I already have it halfway done, I think I'll be OK. I may scraplift some of the card ideas though. :-)

  2. Thanks! I used a stapler and some vellum adhesive to secure the ribbon on the dream card.

  3. I am scared. I just used the rub-on graphics sheet. I couldn't stop. I shouldn't be allowed to play with those ever again! :-)
You'll see what I mean... very soon. I wouldn't even POST it, except that I like the pictures so much!

  4. Wow, Rach! I love this collection. Sorry it's taken me so long to comment. I love how your letters in the Legoland layout look like legos - they're even shiny like legos!!! Too cute! I love your photo collage (so much I ripped it off to use in my layout!). Those are some pretty damn cute photos. I miss Hanna Baby.

I love how you painted the flower. I love how adventurous you are with paint. It's something I keep meaning to take on. Also, I love how you mimic the half circles - it's so cohesive. I love that! I can't believe you hand cut those border strips. They look great!

I love all of your cards, but I particularly love the dream card. I love how you paired the organza ribbon with the word dream. They just seem so right together. That ribbon is soft and dreamy so it looks good with the dream word. I like how you designed the ribbon to go between the blue cross pattern on the red cardstock. That's so clever! And cute!

I love it all. The time and effort you put into everything really shows. They are all beautiful!
