I am so excited about this club. Affectionately known (well, to only me so far) as ORMV. Thank you ladies for inspiring my creative mojo. I look forward to seeing your handiwork!
(A blurb about me:
I live in Albany, California. Here, the weather is wonderful, the views are breathtaking - and I can feed the many addictions of my soul: urban exploring, reading, eating (foodie style!), working ... and scrapping!)

I recently moved back to California after many years abroad. I am proud mom to a beautiful little girl and enjoy scrapbooking, reading, film, travel and foreign languages.

I live in Burbank with my husband and our 2 kids, Gavin and Mia. Thanks to this club, my projects have taken over the dining room table... but that's what TV trays are for, right?
Marieke

I live in beautiful Boise, ID, with my wonderful husband. To say that I have an addiction to scrapbooking is putting it mildly.

I am the newest member of the group! My husband and I recently (August '10) moved to Fairfield, CA from Rota, Spain. I am a native Florida girl traveling wherever the military takes us. I've been a card maker for quite a while but am looking to step out of my comfort zone and start scrapping a bit more. I am excited to start participating in the club.

Posting on 2/7?
Hi Ladies!
Is anyone posting on 2/7? How is the convention going?
OMG! The scrapbooking convention was sooooo much fun. I got a ton of stuff for freeeeeeeee!!!! Yay!!! (Well, I spent $3 the entire weekend. Not bad if I say so myself. And boy was that hard. I had to literally shut my eyes and hurry by the $1 booth where they had top of the line quality embellishments that normally cost between $4 and $5 for $1.)
I am going to do a big post on my own blog soon about it all. I met some really nice people and the vendor faire was lots of fun because all of the booths had samples and they were GORGEOUS! It was as if Two Peas Gallery had come to life. I even got to see that layout I scraplifted for Hanna's Easter layout IN PERSON!!!! It was in the Technique Tuesday booth. It was weird seeing it in person because they used glitter on it and I would never have known just from looking at it on-line or in a magazine.
Oh, it was awesome. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of people there, but at the same time I never wanted to leave. There were so many times I wished you guys were there. We HAVE to all go to one in the future together. The volunteering part was a lot of fun. Actually, I had the most fun doing that and that was the part I was most apprehensive about. But it was very easy and I learned some neat new tricks from the classes I helped out in. Of course, everybody LOVED Spencer (story of my life - where is the love for Marieke?). When we went back the next day to go through the vendor faire we were stopped twice by people who said, "Spencer! Hi!" and then to me "He was great! We loved him!"
Okay, well, I'm off to finish up my February kit results.
So much to do...
1. Take pic of Spencer and finish February kit results 2. Post February kit results 3. Post "Paradise" layout to my blog 4. Post about the scrapbook convention 5. Write e-mail to the nice women I met inviting them to look at our club blog (It was neat - one had made trading cards with her info on them to give away.) 6. Finish Disney layout (Part of Kurt's Album.) 7. Post Disney layout to my blog 8. Post pics of the layouts I made at Christmas for Kurt's album to my blog. 9. Look through all my new books and the library scrapbooking books I checked out
Oh, so I will be posting either tonight or tomorrow morning sometime. Most likely tomorrow morning because I have some things I need to finish up which might push me past dark and I like to take my pics in natural sunlight since my camera is not the greatest.
