For Marieke's April photo challenge, I made a simple Easter card using some of Tammy's stamps and tools. I've never tried stamping a scene before. Seriously fun:
As for the extra credit, it doesn't exactly count, but I have to share a snapshot of the layout I made at the Scrapbook Expo Class last month, taught by Linda Sturdivant of Close to My Heart:
I'm not sure what photos I'm going to use yet. I love the Magnifique line! That is all.
Well, you know I love this card as I was there when you made it. I must say thank you for not using the yellow clouds :) I love that little birdie peeking into the nest!
ReplyDeleteI think posting the layout counts. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of dry embossed clouds. I agree with Tammy: yellow is not the best color choice for those! I can't wait to see your layout idea with kites come to life.
Love this cute little birdy card, Rach. Adorable. I like the little nest - too cute!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the Magnifique papers and the layout - very cool. I am going to be ordering some of those papers next month and can't wait to get them. I just love peacocks and peacock feathers lately.
